Category
Passes
A Premium Battle Pass is a paid pass that lets you join one raid in person at a Gym. It works like the free
Raid Pass you get from spinning a Gym once per day, but you can hold more than one at a time. To join a raid from somewhere else, you need a
Remote Raid Pass instead.
Premium Battle Passes work for every type of in-person raid, including 1-star to 5-star raids, Mega Raids, Super Mega Raids, Primal Raids, and Shadow Raids. For in-person Mega Raids,
Link Charges are an alternative: 150 for a Mega Raid or 200 for a Super Mega Raid.
Max Battles don't use passes. They cost
Max Particles instead.
How to Get Premium Battle Passes
The shop is the only steady source of Premium Battle Passes. Free ones show up as rewards from time to time.
- The in-game shop
- Special Research and Timed Research rewards
- GO Pass rank rewards
- Level-up rewards at certain Trainer levels
- Welcome-back rewards for returning trainers
In the Shop
100 Poké Coins for 1 Premium Battle Pass- 250 Poké Coins for 3 Premium Battle Passes
How to Use a Premium Battle Pass
- Walk to a Gym with an active raid and tap it.
- Tap the battle button. If you're holding a free Raid Pass, the game uses that first. Otherwise, it asks to use a Premium Battle Pass (or Link Charges for a Mega Raid).
- Confirm to spend the pass and enter the raid lobby.
Note: Since the free Raid Pass is always used first, spin a Gym for your daily pass before you spend a Premium Battle Pass.
