Elite Fast TM
A Pokémon GO item in the TMs category.
Elite Fast TM
This Technical Machine lets you choose a Fast Attack to teach to a Pokémon.
Category
TMs
An Elite Fast TM is a rare Technical Machine in Pokémon GO that lets you choose exactly which Fast Attack a Pokémon learns. Unlike a regular
Fast TM, which picks a random move, an Elite Fast TM can also teach legacy and event-exclusive Fast Attacks that the Pokémon can't otherwise get.
For example, an Elite Fast TM can teach
Charizard
Dragon Breath or
Wing Attack, two Fast Attacks it can't learn from a regular Fast TM.
Because they're scarce, save Elite Fast TMs for Pokémon you'll use heavily in raids or GO Battle League, where the legacy move makes a real difference.
How to Get Elite Fast TMs
Elite Fast TMs aren't available from everyday gameplay. Trainers can get them from:
- Reaching trainer Level 40
- End-of-season GO Battle League rewards at higher ranks
- Paid event boxes in the shop, such as some Community Day boxes
- Event rewards, such as paid Special Research or GO Pass tracks
How to Use an Elite Fast TM
- Open the Pokémon you want to change.
- Tap the menu button in the bottom right corner and choose "Items".
- Select the Elite Fast TM.
- Choose the Fast Attack you want from the list and confirm.
