Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are

Dittobase ("Dittobase", "we", "us") can be reached at support@dittobase.com.

Dittobase is an independent fan-made website. It is not associated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., Niantic, or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and Pokémon character names are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and GAME FREAK inc.

2. Accepting these terms

These terms apply to anyone who visits or uses Dittobase, with or without an account. By creating an account, subscribing to a paid plan, or using the site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Dittobase.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to subscribe to a paid plan.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else is using it.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription immediately and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Free plan and paid plans

Dittobase is free to use. Paid plans (currently Supporter, Trainer, and Gym Leader) raise limits, unlock additional features, and support the site. The features and limits for each plan are listed on the Pricing page and may change over time. Some perks marked "Soon" on the Pricing page are still in development; we will tell you when they are available.

If you downgrade or your paid plan ends, anything you created beyond the limits of your new plan stays saved but may become read-only until you are within the new limits again or upgrade.

Fair use and service limits

The plan-specific card-list limits and fair-use provisions below took effect on October 21, 2026.

Our plans are intended for personal collecting, deck building, and team building. Any feature described as "unlimited" remains subject to fair use and the service limits disclosed here and on our Pricing page. It does not include unrestricted storage, automated bulk creation, or use that materially disrupts the service for other people.

The maximums per account are 250 saved decks across Pokémon TCG and Pocket combined, 250 card lists across Pokémon TCG and Pocket combined, and 250 teams across games combined. These are three separate limits. Free and Supporter plans have lower allowances, as shown on our Pricing page.

Each individual Pokémon TCG or Pocket card list can hold up to 2,000 items on Free, 10,000 on Supporter, 100,000 on Trainer, or 250,000 on Gym Leader. An item means one distinct card-and-printing entry; increasing the quantity of that entry does not use additional items. An entry may contain up to 9,999 copies. These per-list limits do not apply to Pokémon GO collections.

If a list is already above your plan's limit, including after a downgrade or a change to these limits, its contents stay saved. You can access the list, remove entries, change quantities, and make changes that do not increase its number of entries. To grow the list, first reduce it below your limit or move to a plan with sufficient capacity. We will explain the applicable limit when an addition is blocked.

You must not use multiple accounts, scripts, repeated bulk imports, or other methods to bypass limits or create excessive storage or processing loads. Normal use of our built-in import tools is allowed within these limits and our acceptable-use rules. Having a large personal collection does not, by itself, mean you are abusing the service.

If your usage materially affects the site's performance, availability, or operating costs beyond ordinary personal use, we may apply reasonable storage or usage limits, slow requests, restrict new saves or imports, or ask you to reduce that usage. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the issue and give you notice and an opportunity to adjust before imposing an account-specific restriction. We may act immediately to address active abuse, security risks, or service disruption. Where reasonably possible, we will preserve access to existing content while the issue is resolved.

If we introduce or reduce a numerical limit for ordinary personal use, we will disclose it on the Pricing page and give affected subscribers advance notice under the Changes to these terms section. We will not charge additional usage fees without your agreement. Nothing in this policy limits cancellation or refund rights you have under applicable law.

5. Billing and automatic renewal

Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance, either monthly or yearly, depending on the option you choose at checkout. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply where you live.

Your subscription renews automatically. At the end of each billing period we charge the payment method on file for the next period, at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel. For yearly plans we send a reminder email before the renewal charge.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method for the recurring subscription fee and any applicable taxes.

6. Changing plans

You can upgrade or downgrade from Settings at any time.

• Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period, and the new price applies from the next period.
• Downgrades take effect immediately. The unused portion of what you paid for the current period is applied as a credit toward future bills.

Switching between monthly and yearly billing starts a new billing period on the day of the switch.

7. Canceling

You can cancel from Settings at any time, with no fees and no phone calls. When you cancel, you keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account then moves to the Free plan. You can resume before the period ends and nothing changes.

8. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we will email you and Stripe will retry the charge over the following days. You keep your plan while retries are pending. If the payment cannot be collected, your subscription ends and your account moves to the Free plan. You can update your payment method from Settings at any time.

9. Refunds

If you are not happy with a paid plan, email support@dittobase.com from the address on your account and tell us what went wrong. We review every request and may issue a full or partial refund. You can also cancel at any time and keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.

10. Price changes

We may change plan prices or features. If a price increase affects your current subscription, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then to avoid the new price.

11. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Use Dittobase in a way that breaks the law or these terms.
• Break the rules on bots, scraping, and AI in Section 12.
• Try to bypass plan limits, payment, or security measures.
• Create multiple accounts to get around plan limits, suspensions, or bans.
• Upload anything you do not have the right to share, or anything hateful, harassing, or illegal.
• Impersonate another person or post spam.
• Upload viruses or other malicious code, or probe our systems for security weaknesses without our permission.
• Collect personal information about other trainers.
• Interfere with the site or other trainers' use of it.

If you find a security issue, please report it to support@dittobase.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

12. Bots, scraping, and AI

This section applies to everyone who accesses Dittobase, whether or not you have an account or are logged in, and whether you visit yourself or through software.

Unless we have given you written permission, you may not:

• Use bots, crawlers, spiders, scrapers, headless browsers, or other automated tools to access, copy, download, or collect content or data from Dittobase.
• Call our internal APIs or data endpoints directly, outside of normal use of our pages in a web browser.
• Send requests faster than a person using a normal web browser could, or in any way that puts an unreasonable load on our servers.
• Get around rate limits, blocks, CAPTCHAs, firewalls, robots.txt rules, or other access controls. This includes rotating IP addresses, using proxies, or disguising your user agent or identity.
• Use Dittobase content or data to train, fine-tune, test, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, or to build a dataset for that purpose.
• Copy our data in bulk to build or improve another database, app, or website, including one that competes with Dittobase.
• Mirror or frame Dittobase, or republish substantial parts of it.

These uses are allowed:

• Search engines may crawl and index public pages to show links and short snippets in search results, as long as they follow our robots.txt. Following robots.txt does not grant permission for any other use, including AI training.
• AI assistants may fetch individual pages to answer a person's question, as long as they credit and link to Dittobase.
• Browser features and assistive technology, such as screen readers, used at normal speed.

We reserve all rights to text and data mining of Dittobase content, including under Article 4(3) of EU Directive 2019/790. For research, partnerships, or bulk data access, email support@dittobase.com.

If you break these rules, we may block your access, close related accounts, and take legal action. You agree to delete any data you collected in violation of this section when we ask.

13. Your content

You keep ownership of anything you post or upload (for example profile details, collections, decks, teams, and screenshots). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and share that content as needed to run Dittobase, including showing public content to other trainers. You can delete your content or your account at any time.

14. Our content and third-party rights

The Dittobase name, design, code, and original text are ours. Pokémon game data, names, images, and related material belong to their respective owners and are used for informational and fan purposes. If you believe content on Dittobase infringes your rights, email support@dittobase.com.

15. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or other feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

16. Third-party services and ads

Dittobase may show ads and links to other websites, including affiliate links that earn us a commission. We do not control third-party websites, products, or services and are not responsible for them. Signing in with Google or Discord and paying through Stripe are also covered by those companies' own terms.

17. Service changes and availability

Dittobase is built and run by a very small team. We do our best to keep the site available and accurate, but we may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time, and we cannot promise the site will always be error free or uninterrupted.

18. Disclaimers

Dittobase is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of game data. Game mechanics change, and our tools are estimates, not guarantees.

19. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dittobase will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Dittobase. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or a subscription is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

20. Termination

You can stop using Dittobase or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive continue after your account ends, including licenses, Section 12 (Bots, scraping, and AI), disclaimers, and limitation of liability.

21. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

22. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will email account holders or post a notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use Dittobase after the change means you accept the updated terms.

23. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce part of these terms right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about Dittobase. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
