Passes
The GO Battle League Timed Research Pass is a free pass that unlocks a battle-themed Timed Research for the length of a GO Battle League season. It costs nothing, so it's worth claiming every season if you battle at all.
Don't confuse it with the
Premium Battle Pass, which is used to join raids.
How to Get the GO Battle League Timed Research Pass
A new pass appears in the in-game shop at no cost when each GO Battle League season begins. It can only be claimed for a limited time at the start of the season, so grab it early.
- Open the Shop.
- Find the GO Battle League Timed Research Pass and claim it for free.
- Open your Research tab to find the Timed Research.
Rewards From GO Battle League Timed Research
The research runs for the whole season and tracks your battles as you go.
- The first page asks you to catch Pokémon. It rewards encounters with Pokémon that are useful for building a GO Battle League team.
- Each page after that asks for 100 battles and 50 wins.
Since the research lasts the full season, you don't need to rush it. Battles and wins count as you play GO Battle League normally.
