Category
Lures
The Mossy Lure Module is a special Lure in Pokémon GO that attracts wild Pokémon to a PokéStop for 30 minutes, the same as a regular
Lure Module. It favors Pokémon that love mossy scents, especially Grass-, Bug-, and Poison-type Pokémon.
While you're near a PokéStop with an active Mossy Lure Module, you can evolve
Eevee into
Leafeon for 25 Eevee Candy. It's the only Pokémon that needs this Lure to evolve.
Note: You can also get one Leafeon without a Lure by renaming an Eevee "Linnea" before evolving it. The name trick only works once.
How to Get Mossy Lure Modules
Mossy Lure Modules are not part of the permanent shop stock, so most trainers get them from events.
- Special Research and Timed Research rewards
- Event pass reward tracks
- Limited-time bundles in the shop
- Top finishes in PokéStop Showcases
How to Use a Mossy Lure Module
- Spin or tap a PokéStop to open it.
- Tap the empty Lure slot above the PokéStop's photo disc.
- Choose the Mossy Lure Module and confirm.
Only one Lure can be active on a PokéStop at a time, and everyone nearby benefits from it. To evolve Eevee into Leafeon, stand within reach of the lured PokéStop, open your Eevee, and tap Evolve. The Lure doesn't have to be yours.
