Need the exact 100% IV chance?
This page explains the IV floors. The existing Hundo Odds reference turns each floor into perfect IV odds by encounter method.
IV floors are the minimum Attack, Defense, and HP IV values a Pokémon can have when it is obtained from a specific encounter type. A 10/10/10 floor means each stat can roll only from 10 through 15, while a 0/0/0 floor means the full 0 through 15 range is possible.
The table above is meant to answer the quick reference question first: what is the minimum possible IV spread for this kind of encounter? For the exact perfect-IV chance, compare the floor against the hundo odds page.
How IV floors affect hundo odds
A hundo needs 15 Attack, 15 Defense, and 15 HP. When the IV floor is higher, there are fewer possible values in each stat, so the chance that all three stats land on 15 gets better. That is why a 10/10/10 raid or research reward has much better hundo odds than a normal wild catch.
Purification is different from an encounter floor
Purifying a Shadow Pokémon adds 2 to each IV stat after the catch, capped at 15. That makes 13/13/13 Shadows especially important, because they become hundos when purified. The encounter table still lists the Shadow catch floor, not the purified result.
What is an IV floor in Pokémon GO?
An IV floor is the minimum value each IV stat can roll for a specific encounter type. For example, a research encounter has a 10/10/10 floor, so Attack, Defense, and HP each roll from 10 through 15.
Does weather boost always raise the IV floor?
Weather boost raises wild and standard Team GO Rocket Grunt or Leader catches to a 4/4/4 IV floor. Raid catches already use a 10/10/10 floor, so weather boost raises their catch level but not their IV floor.
Which encounter type has the best IV floor?
Among repeatable regular mechanics, Lucky Trades have a 12/12/12 floor. Mighty Pokémon can have a 13/13/13 floor during special events, which is even higher but much less broadly available.
Why do some GO Battle League rewards show a 0/0/0 floor?
Standard GO Battle League encounters usually use the 10/10/10 reward floor. During some GO Battle Day, Week, or Weekend events, official event copy has described reward encounters as having wider Attack, Defense, and HP variance, so treat those rows as event-specific.
