Lures
The Golden Lure Module is a special Lure in Pokémon GO that attracts wild Pokémon to a PokéStop for 30 minutes and turns it into a golden PokéStop, called a Gholden PokéStop. Spinning a Gholden PokéStop can reward
Gimmighoul Coins and gives more items than a regular spin. In very rare cases,
Gimmighoul itself may appear.
Gimmighoul Coins are what you need to evolve Roaming Form Gimmighoul. Collect 999 coins to evolve it into
Gholdengo.
Unlike other Lures, you can only hold one Golden Lure Module at a time.
How to Get Golden Lure Modules
Golden Lure Modules come from connecting Pokémon GO to Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet on Nintendo Switch. You earn one for every 5 Postcards you send from Pokémon GO to either game.
You can only send one Postcard per day, and the daily limit resets at midnight. Sending a Postcard each day also recharges your
Coin Bag, which spawns Roaming Form Gimmighoul.
How to Use a Golden Lure Module
- Spin or tap a PokéStop to open it.
- Tap the empty Lure slot above the PokéStop's photo disc.
- Choose the Golden Lure Module and confirm.
The PokéStop turns gold while the Lure is active. Everyone nearby can spin it, so use your Golden Lure Module where friends are playing and everyone can collect coins. Unlike a regular
Lure Module, it doesn't trigger any evolutions.
