The Mystery Box is a Trainer Boost item in Pokémon GO that makes the Mythical Pokémon 
Meltan appear around you for 60 minutes. It works like 
Incense, but Meltan is the only Pokémon it attracts.
Meltan needs 400 Meltan Candy to evolve into 
Melmetal, so trainers open the Mystery Box many times to catch enough Meltan.
How to Get the Mystery Box
You get the Mystery Box the first time you send a Pokémon from Pokémon GO to another game. Either connection works:
- Transferring a Pokémon to Pokémon HOME
- Transferring a Pokémon to Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! or Let's Go, Eevee! through GO Park
The Mystery Box stays in your inventory for good.
How Often You Can Open the Mystery Box
After you open the Mystery Box, it needs 3 days to recharge. Once the 3 days pass, transfer another Pokémon to Pokémon HOME or the Let's Go games to unlock it again.
How to Use the Mystery Box
- Transfer a Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME or the Let's Go games.
- Tap the Poké Ball menu, then "Items."
- Tap the Mystery Box and open it.
Walk around while it's open to see as many Meltan as possible.
