Fastest Pokémon

Fastest Pokémon

All 1,245 Pokémon and forms ranked by base Speed, the stat that usually decides which Pokémon moves first. First place: Regieleki, at 200.

In most turns, the faster Pokémon attacks first. This list ranks base Speed, before Natures, EVs and IVs change it, so you can compare any two Pokémon at a glance.

Mega Evolutions, Primal Reversions, regional forms and other forms with their own stats, types or size each get an entry. Forms that only change a Pokémon’s look are listed once. Eternamax and Totem forms are left out because they’re battle-size versions of Pokémon already ranked. Gigantamax forms debuted in Galar, so turn them on from the Galar tab. Turn off Forms to rank one entry per species.

Shuckle, Munchlax and Pyukumuku tie for slowest, each with a base Speed of 5.

Does the faster Pokémon always move first?

Usually, but not always. Priority moves like Quick Attack and Extreme Speed go first whatever the Speed, and Trick Room lets slower Pokémon move first for five turns. Paralysis and Speed drops can also flip the order.
