Frequently Asked Questions
How do I compare two Pokémon?
Pick a Pokémon for each side of Head-to-head to see their Attack, Defense and Stamina side by side, plus each one’s max CP at Level 40 and Level 50. Below the stats, the fast and charged moves split into three lists: only the first Pokémon, both, and only the second.
What is max CP?
The highest CP a Pokémon reaches with 100% IVs (15/15/15). Stardust and Candy power it up to Level 40. From there to Level 50, Candy XL takes the place of Candy.
What does Elite TM mean?
That Pokémon can only get the move with an Elite TM, usually because the move came from an event like Community Day. Use an Elite Fast TM for a fast move and an Elite Charged TM for a charged move.
Can I compare more than two Pokémon?
Yes. Switch to Table to compare up to four at once. Turn on Differences only to hide tied stats and the moves every Pokémon learns the same way.
Can I add a Pokémon from Compare to my team?
Yes. Choose Add to under its name, then Add to team. You can add it to your draft, to one of your saved Pokémon GO teams, or to a new team. To save it to one of your lists instead, choose Add to list.
Why can’t I find a Pokémon?
Only Pokémon you can use in Pokémon GO appear in Compare. If you switch to a game that doesn’t have a Pokémon you picked, its card says so until you change it.
