GO Fest 2026 Day 2 Raid Makeup
We previously announced a special GO Fest 2026: Global Sunday raid event in select regions. Upon further investigation, we have found that the impact of technical issues related to raids was more widespread than initially thought. Therefore, we will expand the event globally to include all Trainers. The event will take place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Additionally, we appreciate your extended patience as we work through these updates. As a token of our gratitude and sincere apology for the confusion we have caused, we have increased the number of free 
Raid Passes from 9 to 12 for this event.

Trainers,
We apologize for the technical issue that certain Trainers experienced when attempting to join Raid Battles during Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global. This issue did not consume Raid Passes, but it did prevent Trainers from joining Raid Battles as normal.
As compensation for this issue, we will hold a special raid event for all Trainers on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. Raid Bosses featured during Sunday of the original event—including 
Mega Mewtwo Y in Super Mega Raids—will appear!
There will be no limit on Remote Raids for all Trainers from Saturday, July 25, at 1:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, July 26, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

We’re holding a special raid event featuring dozens of Pokémon that appeared on the Sunday of GO Fest 2026: Global!
Event Bonuses
- Up to 12 free Raid Passes per day by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms.
- Pokémon caught from five-star raids and Mega Raids during this event may have a Special Background.
Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids during this event may have a Special Background. If that Mewtwo with a Special Background is Mega Evolved, its Mega Evolution’s background will have an additional visual effect.
Premier Balls will be more effective at catching Pokémon after raids.- Link Charge cap will increase to 2,000.
- There will be no limit on Remote Raids for all Trainers from Saturday, July 25, at 1:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, July 26, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
Trainers who previously purchased the Deluxe GO Pass for Road of Legends will receive the following bonuses.
- Additional 5,000 XP from completed raids.
- Additional 3 Candy from completing 5-star and higher raids.
- Additional 1 Candy XL from completing 5-star and higher raids.
