Moves Introduced in Generation 3
All 103 Pokémon moves introduced in Generation 3 (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, and LeafGreen), with type, class, power, accuracy, and PP.
Dragon Dance, Calm Mind, Bulk Up, and Aerial Ace all debuted in Generation 3, which also introduced Abilities, Natures, and Double Battles. Moves built for two-on-two play arrived with it, like Fake Out, Follow Me, and Helping Hand.
Moves were still physical or special based on their type, so Leaf Blade and Blaze Kick dealt special damage until Generation 4.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many moves were introduced in Generation 3?
103, across Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, and LeafGreen.
Which Generation 3 move has the highest power?
Among moves with a fixed power, six tie at 150: Focus Punch, Eruption, Water Spout, Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon, and Frenzy Plant. Eruption and Water Spout only reach 150 when the user’s HP is full.
Why are Leaf Blade and Blaze Kick listed as physical moves?
The table uses each move’s current data. In Generation 3, a move’s type decided whether it was physical or special, so Grass-, Fire-, and Dragon-type moves like Leaf Blade, Blaze Kick, and Dragon Claw dealt special damage. Generation 4 gave every move its own class.
Are Shadow moves from Colosseum and XD included?
No. Shadow moves like Shadow Rush only appear in Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness on the GameCube, so this list sticks to the main-series games.
