Location Background

Ticket-holding Trainers who participate in raids and Max Battles during Pokémon GO Wild Area: Nagasaki will have a chance of receiving a new Location Background after making a successful catch. This souvenir background will appear on the Pokémon’s summary page, showing where the Pokémon was caught and commemorating your adventures during Pokémon GO Wild Area!

During the event the following Pokémon all have a chance to have a Nagasaki Location Background!

Stamp Rally

Ticket-holding Trainers in Nagasaki can look forward to an all-new GO Stamp Rally, available on your main ticketed event day! GO Stamp Rallies work just like real-world stamp rallies. Explore iconic locations and landmarks throughout the city and collect in-game stamps to complete your stamp rally.

How do Pokémon GO Stamp Rallies work?

1. Starting the Stamp Rally

The Pokémon GO Wild Area: Nagasaki stamp rally will be available at 9:00 a.m. JST on your main ticketed event day.**

To start the stamp rally, simply approach a PokéStop that’s part of the GO Wild Area stamp rally to receive a stamp sheet. A stamp rally button will appear on the map, allowing you to start stamping!

All PokéStops that are part of the GO Wild Area stamp rally will be featured and highlighted on Campfire and a dedicated map.

2. Collecting Stamps

Once your stamp rally has started, an orange stamp icon will appear above participating PokéStops. Visit these PokéStops and spin their Photo Discs to add stamps to your stamp sheet.

The way you press the stamps is similar to real stamps. The ink density changes depending on how long you press. Stamps will also display the PokéStop’s name and date. Stamps’ appearance will vary depending on how you press, and you cannot re-press a stamp.

3. Finishing a Stamp Rally and Collecting Rewards

You can collect up to eight stamps as part of this stamp rally. If you collect all eight stamps, you’ll get an encounter with a Bewear wearing a wilderness cape that has a Nagasaki Location Background!

**The Pokémon GO Wild Area: Nagasaki stamp rally can only be completed once daily during event hours. Trainers who have purchased an Extra Day Add-On will not receive additional stamp rally opportunities on added days.

Wild Spawns

These event-themed Pokémon will appear throughout the city of Nagasaki during your ticketed event day in two rotating hours. Lurking Dark Hour will run first, followed by Fanciful Fairy Hour.

Fanciful Fairy Hour

Mighty Pokémon

Trainers may also find themselves in encounters with unusually powerful opponents known as mighty Pokémon! All mighty Pokémon have some shared traits.

  • More likely to have high Attack, Defense, and HP ratings
  • More likely to be XL or XXL
  • More difficult to capture

Trainers may even encounter Shiny mighty Pokémon, if they’re lucky! Using the event-exclusive GO Safari Ball when trying to capture these Pokémon will greatly improve your chance of success.

Different mighty Pokémon will have a chance to appear on each day. Mighty Pokémon are mighty rare, so make sure you have your GO Safari Balls ready—you never know when one might appear!

Eggs

5 km Eggs

Incense Encounters

The following Pokémon will be attracted to Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) during the event. Also, ticket-holding Trainers using Incense will be able to encounter Shiny Unown K and Shiny Unown W for the first time in Pokémon GO—if they’re lucky!

Some Trainers might even encounter the following mighty Pokémon!
