Join millions of Trainers around the globe for the epic conclusion to this year’s GO Fest events—Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale! This free, un-ticketed celebration is open to everyone, anywhere in the world, with the GO Pass: Max Finale.
Trainers level 13 and up can take on a weeklong challenge filled with intense raids, thrilling Max Battles, and more. Face off against every Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon that has appeared in Pokémon GO to date—and encounter the powerful new Legendary Pokémon, 
Eternatus.
Date and Time
August 23 and 24, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time
Event Bonuses
Trainers will receive the following bonuses and rewards between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m local time on event days!
- Additional Power Spots will be active.
- Power Spots will refresh more frequently.
- Max Particle collection limit will increase.
- 2x Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2x Candy XL chance from catching Pokémon.
There will be no limit on Remote Raids from Saturday, August 23, to Sunday, August 24, 2025.

All Gigantamax Pokémon that have appeared in Pokémon GO may appear at Power Spots. Take on these towering challenges and don’t miss your chance to catch them all!
Six-Star Max Battles
Starting at 10:00 a.m. a new Gigantamax Pokémon will spawn at Power Spots every hour until 5:00 p.m. All Dynamax Pokémon that have appeared in Pokémon GO may also appear at a Power Spot, but it will be less likely.

GO Pass: Max Finale
From Monday, August 18, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 24, at 9:00 p.m. local time, GO Pass: Max Finale and GO Pass Deluxe: Max Finale will be available in Pokémon GO!
Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: Max Finale on Monday, August 18, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect GO Points for GO Pass: Max Finale and rank up to get additional rewards through Sunday, August 24, at 9:00 p.m. local time.
From Monday, August 18, to Friday, August 22, you can collect GO Points up to a daily cap during the Dark Skies event to get a head start on GO Pass: Max Finale. There’s no daily limit for how many GO Points you can earn from Saturday, August 23, at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 24, at 9:00 p.m. local time!
For Trainers looking for upgraded rewards and faster progression, check out GO Pass Deluxe: Max Finale, a paid version of GO Pass: Max Finale. While progressing through the deluxe version of the GO Pass, you can claim all of the rewards from both the free GO Pass and the GO Pass Deluxe. You can upgrade to a GO Pass Deluxe at any time and still collect rewards from previously unlocked ranks.
Rewards unlocked in GO Pass: Max Finale will expire on Tuesday, August 26, at 9:00 p.m. local time, so be sure to claim your rewards before they’re gone!
