Featured Pokémon
Deino will appear more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!
Featured Attack
Evolve Zweilous during the event or up to two hours afterward, until 4:00 p.m. local time, to get
Hydreigon that knows the Charged Attack
Brutal Swing.
The original announcement lists Brutal Swing at 65 power in Trainer Battles and 65 power in Gyms and raids.
Stickers
You’ll be able to get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening
Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop.
Deino Hat
Purchase the featured Deino Hat avatar item from the in-game shop for 150 PokéCoins.
July 16 Makeup Event
The official announcement added a makeup event for the affected earliest time zones, GMT+5 through GMT+12, after problems during Deino Community Day. It takes place on Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time in those eligible zones.
Evolve Zweilous during the makeup event or up to two hours afterward, until 4:00 p.m. local time, to get Hydreigon with Brutal Swing. The makeup repeats the quarter Hatch Distance, doubled catch Candy, doubled chance of
Deino Candy XL, three-hour
Incense and Lure Modules, and snapshot surprise.
During the makeup event, catching enough Pokémon with a single Lure Module can bring wild Zweilous near that Lured PokéStop. One additional Special Trade is available during the event and up to two hours afterward, for a maximum of three for the day. Trades during that same window require 50% less
Stardust.
Encounters After a Raid
Defeat Zweilous in one of these four-star raids to make Deino appear within 300 meters of the Gym for 30 minutes. These Deino have the same Shiny chance as those during the three-hour Community Day period.
The main catch, Incense, Lure, snapshot, and group-play bonuses apply only during the initial three-hour Community Day period; the separately listed extended trade bonuses retain their own hours.
