Event Bonuses
These bonuses apply during the 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local event window.
3× XP for catching Pokémon.
2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Lure Modules activated during the event last three hours.
Incense activated during the event lasts three hours.

Extended Trade Bonuses
These trade bonuses run from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time on October 15, 2022:
One additional Special Trade, for a maximum of two for the day.
Trades require 50% less Stardust.
Bonus Raid Battles after Community Day
Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time. 
Lampent appears in four-star raids. Join using 
Raid Passes or 
Premium Battle Passes; 
Remote Raid Passes cannot be used.
Bonus for Completing Four-Star Raids
After successfully completing a four-star raid against Lampent, 
Litwick appears within a 300-meter radius of the Gym for 30 minutes. These Litwick have the same chance to be Shiny as those encountered during the three-hour Community Day event.
The other Community Day bonuses apply only during the initial three-hour event window, except for the extended trade bonuses described above.
Community Day Map
Use the Community Day map to find Community Parks and places historically popular with local Trainers for trading, battling, and raiding. These locations are provided for information only; Niantic is not hosting or operating events there.
Featured Pokémon
Litwick will appear more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!
Featured Attack
Evolve Lampent (Litwick’s Evolution) during the event or up to five hours afterward to get 
Chandelure that knows the Charged Attack 
Poltergeist. This attack window ends at 10:00 p.m. local time on October 15, 2022.
At the time of this announcement, Poltergeist has 140 power in Trainer Battles and 140 power in Gyms and raids.
Stickers
Get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening 
Gifts, or purchasing them in the in-game shop.
Free Timed Research
Complete free Timed Research during Litwick Community Day to earn up to five 
Unova Stones to help evolve Lampent into Chandelure.
Community Day Special Research
For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), access the Litwick Community Day–exclusive Special Research story, Field Notes: Trick of the Light.
Tickets for the Special Research will be available in the in-game shop. Tickets can also be purchased as gifts for friends with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher: select the Special Research ticket and tap Gift instead of Buy. Gifting is unavailable if the recipient has already purchased or been gifted that ticket.
Tickets are nonrefundable, subject to applicable law and the exceptions in the Terms of Service. This Special Research does not include an in-game medal.
