Pokémon GO Fest 2018: Chicago

Event Overview

Location: Lincoln Park, Chicago, Illinois, USA

Dates: July 14-15, 2018

Trainers,

Are you ready to take a walk in the park? On May 11 at 9:00 a.m. PDT, tickets to Pokémon GO Fest 2018: A Walk in the Park will go on sale! Get your tickets and join us on July 14 or July 15 in Chicago for a unique and new Pokémon GO experience in the city’s historic Lincoln Park.

Your ticket gives you access to a 1.8-mile walking course featuring a variety of Pokémon habitats. As you walk through the park, you’ll encounter Pokémon with affinities for those habitats. You’ll also have an opportunity to conduct new Special Research that leads to exciting rewards. When you’re not out researching Pokémon habitats, you can relax in special team lounges and meet new friends.

While Pokémon GO Fest 2018 will take place over the course of a weekend, Trainers will only be able to interact with the Pokémon habitats within the park for a single day. In other words, a Trainer who purchases a ticket to the event on Saturday will be unable to catch Pokémon within the park on Sunday–even if they’ve purchased a Sunday ticket. Tickets to this event are $20 per person for a single-day experience, so make sure to coordinate with your friends and family and grab them on our event website before they’re gone.

Can’t make it out to Chicago or unable to purchase a ticket? Don’t worry! Trainers will be able to celebrate Pokémon GO Fest 2018 in a unique way all over the world. Stay tuned for information on how you’ll be able to participate in the fun.

How do I purchase a ticket to Pokémon GO Fest 2018?
The link to purchase single-day tickets to Pokémon GO Fest 2018 will be found here, and Trainers will be able to purchase them starting on May 11 at 9:00 a.m. PDT. You will be able to select the day of attendance and your starting location in the park, subject to availability. There is no difference in the experience of the two starting places, but if you have friends joining you, make sure to coordinate to buy tickets for the same day and location.

After purchase, each ticket will require a unique Pokémon GO Trainer Nickname and a shipping address in order to confirm the purchase via email registration. Failure to register could result in your purchase being cancelled with a full refund.

How many tickets can I buy?
You are allowed to purchase up to six single-day tickets total to Pokémon GO Fest 2018. Remember: Each ticket will require registering a unique Trainer Nickname after purchase, so you must register six confirmed Trainer Nicknames in order to obtain the maximum number of tickets.

How do I pay for my tickets?
Tickets are only purchasable via Visa, Mastercard, or American Express debit or credit card. Unfortunately, we are not supporting any other payments at this time. You will have 10 minutes to complete the purchase of your reserved tickets. After that, your reserved tickets may be released back to the sale.

If I can’t go to the event, can I resell my ticket?
It is illegal to resell tickets in Illinois. Ticket holders who attempt to resell tickets or attend multiple days will be in violation of the Pokémon GO Fest 2018 Event Terms and Conditions, and run the risk of having their access to the event denied.
