Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Please note that purchases—including those made for other Trainers—are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins.

Crowning a World Champion!
The 2025 Pokémon World Championships will take place from August 15 to 17, 2025, in Anaheim, California.
The top qualifying Pokémon GO players from around the globe will compete to determine who will be crowned the 2025 Pokémon GO World Champion!
Among other prizes, the Pokémon GO World Champion will receive an in-game World Champion 2025 outfit and pose!

In celebration of the 2025 Pokémon World Championships, the GO Battle League will feature a new arena and background battle music between August 11 at 1:00 p.m. PDT and August 17, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

Bonuses
