This is the fastest way to defeat 7-star Decidueye in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera raids. A single, supercharged PhysicalIce Hammer attack on turn one can knock out Decidueye in one hit.

    Strategy

Crabominable is the only Pokemon that's going to do damage. The other three Pokemon are all there to setup Crabominable to do massive damage.

Crabominable must have the hidden ability Anger Point. This ability maximizes the Pokemon's attack stat (+6 stages) when it's hit by a critical hit.

To trigger this ability, bring a Pokemon with SpecialFrost Breath. This attack always lands a critical hit, and can target allies. Glalie, Avalugg, and Beartic will all work for this.

Anger Point alone is not enough to guaruntee a one-hit knockout. To further boost Crabominable's damage output use Stonjourner.

Stonjourner provides a passive damage boost of 30% with its signature ability Power Spot. Additionally, Stonjourner can use a Go All Out! attack cheer to increase damage by 1.5x (or 2x if you're lucky, but that's not required).

Lastly, reduce Decidueye defense by bringing a Pokemon with StatusScreech. Any Pokemon that knows screech will work, so long as it's not weak to Decidueye's grass, ghost, or flying type moves. Annihilape, Koraidon, or Umbreon will work for this role.

    Detailed builds

Here's a list of detailed builds for each Pokemon. You'll notice a prioritization of speed and accuracy. This is to ensure all of your team's moves go first, before Decidueye has a chance to attack.

    Crabominable

Item: Choice Band or Life Orb
    Ability: Anger Point
    EVs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe
    Nature: Jolly
    Moves:
    - Ice Hammer

Tip: Be patient! Wait for all three support players to get their moves off before using Ice Hammer.

    Stonjourner

    Item: Focus Sash
    Ability: Power Spot
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
    IVs: 0 Atk
    Nature: Careful
Moves: It doesn't matter what moves Stonjourner has. All this player needs to do is an attack cheer, Go All Out!

    Glalie

    Item: Choice Scarf
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
    IVs: 0 SpA
    Nature: Jolly
    Moves:
    - Frost Breath

Tip: It's important to reduce the Special Attack stat as much as possible because Frost Breath is used on your ally, Crabominable, and you don't want to knock it out!

    Koraidon

    Item: Wide Lens
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
    Nature: Jolly
    Moves:
    - Screech

Tip: Wide Lens is important here, because screech doesn't have a 100% accuracy.
