Lightning Rod

Ability used by 24 Sun & Moon Pokémon.

Flavor text

The Pokémon draws in all Electric-type moves. Instead of being hit by Electric-type moves, it boosts its Sp. Atk.

Short effect

Redirects single-target Electric moves to this Pokémon where possible. Absorbs Electric moves, raising Special Attack one stage.

Effect

Redirects eligible single-target Electric-type moves to this Pokémon. Electric-type moves targeting it raise Special Attack by one stage instead of having their ordinary effect; in Sun and Moon, the boost can occur even when this Pokémon is Ground-type. Redirection does not bypass other move-failure conditions.
