Inkay Shiny Hunting Guide (Indigo Disk DLC)
Introduction
Inkay is a Dark/Psychic-type Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon X & Y. It has a blue body, a light pink head with a white outline, and four yellow circles in front of it, two white tentacles from its head, two white eyes with black pupils, and a pink mouth.
Shiny Inkay has a golden body, a light purple head, and a purple mouth.
Evolution
Inkay evolves into 
Malamar at Level 30, while holding your console upside down.
Prerequisites
- You need to have purchased the Hidden Treasures of Area Zero DLC.
- You need to have beaten the main story in Paldea and Kitakami.
Preferred Location
The best location to shiny hunt Inkay is on the water beside the Coastal Rest Area.
Sandwich Recipe
The easiest way to make a Sparkling and Encounter Power: Dark Lv. 3 sandwich is:
- 1 Smoked Fillet
- A combination of 1 Salty + 1 Sweet/Spicy/Sour Herba Mystica
If you don’t have any Salty Herba Mystica, then use this recipe:
- 1 Cucumber + 1 Pickle
- 3 Smoked Fillet
- Any 2 Herba Mystica combination besides: 1 Sweet + 1 Sour Herba Mystica
Tips For Hunting
The best way to shiny hunt Inkay is to run around the water beside the Coastal Rest Area. Shiny Inkay can be noticed from far away, but it's best to look at each one closely to make sure you don't miss its shiny.
