A new town is coming to Pokémon Pokopia with Expansion Pass—Part 1: Bubbly Basin, launching on August 5, 2026! This expansion introduces a new underwater town for Ditto to rebuild, customize, and explore.
With plenty of discoveries waiting beneath the waves, here’s an overview of what you can look forward to in Bubbly Basin.
Visit Bubbly Basin
A mysterious town rests deep beneath the ocean’s surface, and with the newly added Dive move, Ditto can journey below the waves to restore its submerged structures.
At the entrance to this underwater town, 
Popplio will be waiting, ready to help you develop and bring new life to this underwater town.
Develop an Underwater Town
With the newly added buoyant blocks, you can create structures that float underwater, allowing for new builds and layouts that are unique to Bubbly Basin.
To complement this underwater environment, a new crop is also available to grow: watermelon!
Meet New Pokémon
As you might expect, Bubbly Basin is home to a variety of Water-type Pokémon.
By creating habitats throughout the town, you may encounter Pokémon such as 
Mudkip, 
Chinchou, 
Corsola, and many more. These Pokémon can lend their unique talents to help you restore and enhance the beauty of Bubbly Basin.

This DLC introduces a variety of furniture made for life on the seafloor, giving you new ways to decorate your underwater spaces.
With these aquatic-themed items, you can create charming and cozy structures that fit perfectly within the world of Bubbly Basin.

While exploring Bubbly Basin, you may come across a mysterious hole in the seafloor. Grab a Pokémon friend and follow the glowing coral trail to uncover what lies below!
You may also discover a Starmie doll hidden within the town, which lets you travel to a new Dream Island filled with resources to help you continue developing the town.
