Ranked Battles Season 13 in Pokémon Legends Z-A!
Introduction
The 13th Pokémon Legends: Z-A Ranked Battles season is here! Running from Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. PDT to Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 6:59 p.m. PDT.
When you compete, you’ll earn points based on your performance in these battles, which will raise your rank. You’ll start at Rank Z, and you can be promoted all the way to Rank A.
Mega Stones returning as promotion rewards for Rank Y through Rank S include Greninjite, Delphoxite, Chesnaughtite, Baxcalibrite, Sceptilite, Swampertite, and Blazikenite, respectively.
Eligible Pokémon
Eligible Pokémon for Ranked Battles Season 13 include Lumiose Pokédex No. 001–227 and Hyperspace Pokédex No. 001–112. No more than one Pokémon with the same Pokédex number may be used.
You can register Pokémon from Lv. 1 to Lv. 100, but all Pokémon will automatically be set to Lv. 50 during battles.
Rewards
There are three types of rewards for Ranked Battles. You’ll receive battle rewards at the end of each battle (regardless of your performance), promotion rewards when you advance to the next rank, and season rewards, which are based on the ranking you have when the season concludes. This season, you can earn Beast Balls as you advance throughout the ranks.

How to Start a Ranked Battle
To start a Ranked Battle, follow these steps:
1. Launch your Pokémon Legends: Z-A game.
2. Press the X Button to open the main menu.
3. Select Link Play.
4. Select Ranked Battles.
How to Receive In-Game Season Rewards
You will need to finish at least one match with a win or loss during Season 13 to be eligible for season rewards at the end of the season. To receive your in-game season rewards, follow these steps:
1. After the season has ended, launch your Pokémon Legends: Z-A game.
2. Press the X Button to open the main menu.
3. Select Link Play.
4. Select Ranked Battles.
