Multitype

Changes type to match the held Plate.

Changes Arceus's type and form to match its held Plate.

Arceus changes its type and form to match its held Plate. In Black 2 and White 2, Arceus's Plates cannot be taken away or swapped onto it in battle; ordinary held items can be manipulated normally. These restrictions depend on Arceus and the Plate, rather than blocking every item held by a Pokémon with Multitype. A Pokémon that transforms into Arceus copies the target's form and type regardless of its own held item. Multitype cannot be copied by Trace or Role Play, swapped by Skill Swap, or suppressed by Gastro Acid.
