Toedscool Shiny Hunting Guide (Pokémon Scarlet & Violet)
Introduction
Toedscool is a Ground/Grass type Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Toedscool’s design is based on a Japanese wood ear mushroom. As a convergent species of 
Tentacool, it shares a similar look with its Kanto counterpart. However, unlike Tentacool, Toedscool uses its tentacles as legs to run across the ground!
Its normal form presents a peach color with yellow orbs on its head and gray tentacles, while its shiny form becomes a pale gray with light gray orbs. Toedscool is the first stage of its evolutionary line, evolving into 
Toedscruel at Lvl.30.
Preferred Location
The best location to hunt shiny Toedscool in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is the path around Groundblight Shrine in the northwest part of Paldea.
Best Method to Hunt
The best shiny hunting method for Toedscool is to make a Sparkling and Encounter Power: Ground Lv.3 Sandwich. Since it's the only Ground-type Pokémon that spawns in the area, it can easily be isolated
Sandwich Recipe
The easiest way to make a Sparkling and Encounter Power: Ground Lv.3 Sandwich is by using:
- Ham
- A combination of 1 Salty Herba Mystica + 1 Sweet/Spicy/Sour Herba Mystica
If you don't have Salty Herba Mystica then use this recipe:
- 3 Ham
- 1 Pickle + 1 Cucumber
- Any 2 Herba Mystica combination besides: 1 Sweet + 1 Sour, 2x Sweet, and 2x Sour
Evolution
Toedscool evolves into Toedscruel at level 30.
Tips
- Keep a close eye for spawns around the trees and bushes where Toedscool likes to hide.
- Make sure to stay on or near the main path, as other Pokémon may spawn if you veer too far off course.
