            Introduction

Slugma is a Fire-type Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Gold & Silver. Its design is based on a slug and magma. Slugma is a red, slug-like Pokémon with a body that looks like molten lava.

It has two large yellow eyes and has magma dripping from its whole body onto the ground. It's shiny changes its body from red to grey.

            Evolution

Slugma evolves into Magcargo at Level 38.

            Preferred Location

The best location to shiny hunt Slugma is in the area around the Crystal Pool.

            Sandwich Recipe

The easiest way to make a Sparkling and Encounter Power: Fire Lv. 3 sandwich is:

            • 1 Basil
            • A combination of 1 Salty + 1 Sweet/Spicy/Sour Herba Mystica

If you don’t have any Salty Herba Mystica, then use this recipe:

            • 1 Cucumber + 1 Pickle
            • 3 Red Pepper
            • Any 2 Herba Mystica combinations besides: 1 Sweet + 1 Sour Herba Mystica

            Tips For Hunting

The best way to shiny hunt Slugma is to run around the Crystal Pool. Shiny Slugma is difficult to notice as it blends with the terrain. It’s best to look for its big yellow eyes as they don't blend in and you could notice the shiny form.
