              Introduction

Poochyena is a Dark-type Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire. It has a gray body with black underbelly, black paws, a black design around its face, a red nose, two pointed ears, two yellow eyes with red pupils, four legs, and a fluffy gray tail.

Shiny Poochyena has a golden colored body with the black parts turning brown.

              Evolution

Poochyena evolves into Mightyena at Level 18.

              Prerequisites

              • You need to have purchased The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero DLC.

              Preferred Location

The best place to shiny hunt Poochyena is in the Kitakami Road area.

              Sandwich Recipe

The easiest way to make a Sparkling and Encounter Power: Dark Lv. 3 sandwich is:

              • 1 Smoked Fillet
              • A combination of 1 Salty + 1 Sweet/Spicy/Sour Herba Mystica

If you don’t have any Salty Herba Mystica, then use this recipe:

              • 1 Cucumber + 1 Pickle
              • 3 Smoked Fillet
              • Any 2 Herba Mystica combination besides: 1 Sweet + 1 Sour Herba Mystica

              Tips For Hunting

The best way to shiny hunt Poochyena is to run around the Kitakami Road area. Shiny Poochyena can be easily noticed from far away, so you don't need to worry about missing its shiny.
