Introduction
Growlithe is a Fire-type Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Red & Blue. Its design is based on a dog. Growlithe looks like a small fluffy dog with bright orange fur, black stripes on its body, cream-coloured mane around its neck, a fluffy tail, two big pointy ears, two big eyes, and four legs.
Shiny Growlithe has the main body changed from orange to yellow, with the rest of its body turning slightly yellow.

Growlithe evolves into

The best location to shiny hunt Growlithe is in the bamboo forest beside Fury Falls.

If you don’t have any Salty Herba Mystica, then use this recipe:
- 1 Cucumber + 1 Pickle
- 3 Red Pepper
- Any 2 Herba Mystica combination besides: 1 Sweet + 1 Sour Herba Mystica
Tips For Hunting
The best way to shiny hunt Growlithe is to run around the bamboo forest beside Fury Falls. Picnic resting can also be used to reset the spawns, but running around the area is better. Shiny Growlithe can be noticed from far away, so you don’t need to worry about missing the shiny.
