Well Armed will start on Thursday, December 11, at 10:00 a.m. and end on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Event Bonuses

Global Challenges

Global Challenges will take place throughout the Well Armed event! Work with Trainers around the world to complete Max Battles! Once the challenge is complete, the following will be unlocked.

• Clobbopus, the Tantrum Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut in the wild and in Field Research.^
• You might encounter Mienfoo✨ and Jangmo-o✨ in the wild!
• Increased Candy and Candy XL from Max Battles.

✨If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

^You can use 50 Clobbopus Candy to evolve Clobbopus into Grapploct.

Field Research Task Rewards

Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available.

Complete Field Research tasks to earn Fast TMs, Charged TMs, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon including Dynamax Hitmonlee and Dynamax Hitmonchan.

Paid Timed Research

For US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research.

Timed Research rewards include the following.

• Six Rare Candies
• Three Rare Candy XL
• 1,600 Max Particles

Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Please note that purchases—including those made for other Trainers—are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins.

Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
