IV (A/D/S)
This leaderboard ranks every Pokémon by its rank 1 stat product in Ultra League — the optimal IV spread that produces the highest combat output under the CP 2500 cap. Ultra League opens the door to legendary Pokémon and second-stage evolutions that bust the Great League cap, so the meta has a different shape.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does Ultra League have such different top picks than Great League?
The CP 2500 cap lets fully evolved legendaries and pseudo-legendaries fit in the league at competitive levels. Cresselia, Giratina-A, and Registeel become viable here in a way they cannot in Great League. The cap also raises the average level Pokémon reach inside the format, so absolute stat ceilings matter more relative to base stats.
Should I keep Best Buddy in mind for Ultra League?
Yes. Many Ultra League Pokémon hit the CP 2500 cap before level 50, which means a Best Buddy boost to level 51 can either bust the cap or sit useless. For Pokémon that do not hit the cap until level 50 or beyond, level 51 unlocks a small stat-product lift. Each Pokémon’s Pokédex page shows the rank 1 build at both level caps so you can decide whether the candy and friendship investment is worth it.
Why is Blissey ranked above many established Ultra League meta picks?
Stat product alone does not capture moveset quality, energy generation, or matchup spread. Blissey has a huge HP stat that pads its stat product on paper, but its slow Fast Move pressure and middling Charged Move spread keep it out of the top usage tiers. Ranking by stat product surfaces the bulk ceiling — the actual meta filters that further by movepool and matchup coverage.
Are Pokémon below 2500 CP at level 50 included in this leaderboard?
Yes. Any Pokémon with a valid build at level cap 50 appears here, even if its max CP sits well below 2500. These Pokémon get to use their absolute maximum stats inside Ultra League, so their rank 1 IVs are typically 15/15/15. They show up alongside Pokémon that hit the cap earlier — sort by Stat Product to compare.
Does the rank 1 IV spread in Ultra League match Great League for the same Pokémon?
Rarely. The optimal spread depends on which level the Pokémon hits the cap at, and that level changes between leagues. A Pokémon that wants 0/15/15 in Great League might prefer 4/15/14 or even max IVs in Ultra League, depending on its base stats. Always check the IV ranker for the league you actually plan to play.
Why are Shadow forms missing from this leaderboard?
We exclude Shadow forms here to keep the table focused on the standard meta and avoid duplicate entries. Shadows use a different IV preset because of their 1.2× attack and 0.83× defense multipliers. The Pokédex page for any Shadow-eligible Pokémon shows its Shadow rank 1 build alongside the standard one.
