Master League Rank 1 PvP IVs
Every Pokémon ranked by stat product in Pokémon GO Master League.

IV (A/D/S)
Master League has no CP cap, so the level-versus-IV trade-off vanishes. Every Pokémon powers up to its true ceiling at level 50, and the optimal IV spread is always 15/15/15. This leaderboard becomes a clean comparison of absolute combat output across the entire roster.
Mega and Primal forms appear because the calculation uses their boosted stats. Tap any Pokémon to see its full PvP profile.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is rank 1 always 15/15/15 in Master League?
In capped leagues, a low Attack IV lets a Pokémon climb to a higher level under the cap, and that higher level multiplies every stat through a larger CPM. With no CP cap, that trade disappears. The Pokémon hits its real maximum level regardless of IVs, so each extra IV point only adds raw stats. Stat product is maximized when each IV sits at 15.
Why are Mega and Primal Pokémon at the top of the chart?
Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion apply large stat multipliers on top of an already high base stat total. Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Rayquaza, Primal Groudon, and Primal Kyogre all sit on top because their boosted Attack and Defense stats compound through the stat-product formula. They are not a fair comparison to a regular Pokémon because Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion are temporary states gated behind energy and resource costs, but they show up in the table for completeness.
Does this leaderboard reflect actual Master League viability?
Stat product is a starting point, not a final ranking. Master League also rewards moveset quality, type coverage, and matchup spread, which the table does not factor in. A Pokémon with sky-high stat product but no fast Charged Move or shallow type coverage will lose to a slightly weaker Pokémon with elite moves. Use this list to find candidates and the Pokédex pages to evaluate movesets.
Should I bother with Best Buddy for Master League Pokémon?
Yes — every Best Buddy Pokémon gets a level 51 ceiling, which is a small but real stat boost over level 50. The lift is largest on bulky Pokémon where the higher CPM compounds across all three stats. The candy and friendship cost is significant, so most trainers reserve Best Buddy for their cores. Each Pokémon’s Pokédex page shows both level 50 and level 51 stat products so you can see the exact gain.
Are Shadow Pokémon excluded from this Master League list?
Yes. We exclude Shadow forms from this table, but Shadows are often stronger than their standard counterparts in Master League. The 1.2× attack multiplier compounds against many bulky meta Pokémon and can change matchup outcomes. Open the Pokédex page for any Shadow-eligible Pokémon to see its Shadow rank 1 build and traits.
Why does the table show different CP values if everyone uses 15/15/15?
CP is a function of base stats, IVs, and level. With IVs and level fixed, the CP differences come entirely from base stats. A Pokémon with high base Attack will have a higher CP than a bulkier Pokémon at the same level and IVs, even though its stat product might be lower. CP and stat product are correlated but not identical.
