Necrozma Fusion Raid Day
Date and Time
The Necrozma Fusion Raid Day will happen on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Event Bonuses
- Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma will appear more frequently in raids.*
- Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a total of seven).
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Necrozma✨in raids.
- The Remote Raid Pass limit will increase to 20 from Friday, December 13, at 5:00 p.m. to Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. PST.
*Trainers will have a chance to catch Necrozma after defeating Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma.
Event Ticket
For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you can purchase a ticket that grants the following bonuses.
- Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 15)
- Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles
- 2× Stardust from Raid Battles
These bonuses will be effective on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time.
Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Please note that purchases—including those made for other Trainers—are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins.

Pokémon Fusion
Pokémon fusion is the ability to combine certain Pokémon into a single, more powerful form with an altered appearance.
Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma
With enough Fusion Energy, Necrozma can be fused with either Solgaleo to become Dusk Mane Necrozma or Lunala to become Dawn Wings Necrozma.
- Trainers can fuse Necrozma and Solgaleo using 1,000 Solar Fusion Energy, 30 Necrozma Candy, and 30 Cosmog Candy.
- Trainers can fuse Necrozma and Lunala using 1,000 Lunar Fusion Energy, 30 Necrozma Candy, and 30 Cosmog Candy.
Fused Necrozma will remain in this form until their Trainer separates them. Separating will not cost any Fusion Energy or Pokémon Candy.
Solar Fusion Energy and Lunar Fusion Energy
Trainers can earn Solar Fusion Energy or Lunar Fusion Energy by defeating Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma in Raid Battles.
Adventure Effect: Sunsteel Strike
Necrozma fused with Solgaleo into Dusk Mane Necrozma will know the Charged Attack Sunsteel Strike.*
Trainers can activate Sunsteel Strike’s Adventure Effect by using 3,000 Stardust and three Necrozma Candy, which harnesses the power of sunlight for 10 minutes. During this time, Pokémon that typically appear during daytime will be attracted to your location, similar to the effect of Incense. Pokémon that can only evolve during daytime will be able to evolve at any time while this Adventure Effect is active.

You may even encounter Rockruff that can evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc—if you’re lucky!
You can extend the timer for Sunsteel Strike’s Adventure Effect in increments of 10 minutes by using more Stardust and Necrozma Candy. The timer can be extended up to two hours each time you tap Use, and you can tap Use again to add additional time—up to 24 hours total!
Sunsteel Strike cannot be active at the same time as another Adventure Effect, an Incense, a Daily Adventure Incense, the Mystery Box, or the Coin Bag
*Presently, Dusk Mane Necrozma is unable to learn Sunsteel Strike via Charged TM or Elite Charged TM.
Adventure Effect: Moongeist Beam
Necrozma fused with Lunala into Dawn Wings Necrozma will know the Charged Attack Moongeist Beam.*
Trainers can activate the Moongeist Beam’s Adventure Effect by using 3,000 Stardust and three Necrozma Candy, which harnesses the power of moonlight for 10 minutes. During this time, Pokémon that typically appear during nighttime will be attracted to your location, similar to the effect of Incense. Pokémon that can only evolve during nighttime will be able to evolve at any time while this Adventure Effect is active.
