Mega Dimension DLC brings Mega Raichu X & Y to Pokémon Legends Z-A!

Mega Dimension, a $30 USD paid DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, was announced as part of the Nintendo Direct that premiered on September 12th, 2025.
The trailer begins with Hoopa (Confined form) opening a portal. Upon entering the portal, we see numerous Mega Stones flying by, eventually stopping at what we now know to be Raichuite X and Raichuite Y.
As the music intensifies, we see Mega Raich X and Mega Raichu Y running and using Electric-type attacks.

Mega Raichu X
Mega Raichu X is a mono Electric-type Pokémon with two oversized tails, ears, and hands. Its pointed ears are tipped in black, resembling Raichu’s but longer and sharper. Its shape resembles the letter X.
Mega Raichu Y
Mega Raichu Y is also a mono Electric-type, meaning neither of Raichu's Mega Evolutions differ in typing from Raichu itself.
Instead of Raichu’s short, rounded ears with slight curls, this form has large, bat-like ears that flare outward and end in sharp, black-tipped points. It also has additional yellow, wing-like extensions that almost look like two sets of ears.

We'll get two in-game bonuses when purchasing the Mega Dimension DLC; however, one will expire on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Purchasing the Mega Dimension DLC unlocks the Holo-X and Holo-Y apparel items, allowing you to customize your character’s appearance.
According to the official Legends Z-A website, it will take approximately one hour of gameplay to customize your character's appearance.
If you purchase the DLC early, before Saturday, February 28, 2026, you'll also get twelve Poké Balls to help you on your journey: 3x Fast Balls, 3x Lure Balls, 3x Level Balls, and 3x Heavy Balls.
