              Introduction

Vulpix is a Fire-type Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Red & Blue. It is a small fox-like Pokémon with a dark orange body, cream underbody, two circular eyes, two pointed ears, a triangular, small black nose, four legs with brown paws, six curled orange tails that fan out behind it, and an orange, wavy tuft at the top of its head.

Shiny Vulpix turns yellow with a light orange colored tail and tuft, green eyes, and green paws.

              Evolution

Vulpix evolves into Ninetales when exposed to a Fire Stone.

              Prerequisites

              • You need to have purchased The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero DLC.

              Preferred Location

The best location to shiny hunt Vulpix is on Reveler’s Road.

              Sandwich Recipe

The easiest way to make a Sparkling and Encounter Power: Fire Lv. 3 sandwich is:

              • 1 Basil
              • A combination of 1 Salty + 1 Sweet/Spicy/Sour Herba Mystica

If you don’t have any Salty Herba Mystica, then use this recipe:

              • 1 Cucumber + 1 Pickle
              • 3 Red Pepper
              • Any 2 Herba Mystica combination besides: 1 Sweet + 1 Sour Herba Mystica

              Tips For Hunting

The best way to shiny hunt Vulpix is to run around Reveler’s Road. Shiny Vulpix can be easily noticed from far away, so you don't need to worry about missing its shiny.
