              Introduction

Swinub is an Ice/Ground-type Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Gold & Silver. Swinub's design is based on a small piglet. It is a small, round Pokémon covered in brown fur with dark stripes. It has two small eyes and a pink pig-like snout.

Shiny Swinub has green fur covered with dark green stripes and an orange snout.

              Evolution

Swinub evolves into Piloswine at Level 33, and Piloswine evolves into Mamoswine when leveled up while knowing Ancient Power.

              Prerequisites

              • You need to have purchased The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero DLC.

              Preferred Location

The best location to shiny hunt Swinub is in the ravine in the Northern part of Reveler’s Road.

              Sandwich Recipe

The easiest way to make a Sparkling and Encounter Power: Ice Lv. 3 Sandwich is:

              • 1 Klawf Stick
              • A combination of 1 Salty + 1 Spicy

If you don’t have any Salty Herba Mystica, then use this recipe:

              • 1 Cucumber + 1 Pickle
              • 3 Klawf Sticks
              • Any 2 Herba Mystica combination besides: 1 Sweet + 1 Sour Herba Mystica, and 2x Sour Herba Mystica

              Tips For Hunting

The best way to shiny hunt Swinub is to picnic reset inside the ravine in the Northern part of Reveler’s Road by opening and closing a picnic to reset the spawns. Running in and out of the ravine can also be done, but picnic resetting is more effective. Shiny Swinub can be easily noticed from far away, so you don't need to worry about missing the shiny.
