              Introduction

Starly is a Normal/Flying type Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Diamond & Pearl. Starly's design is inspired by the white-cheeked starling, a bird native to East Asia.

Starly has a grey round body, a short tail, a white face and belly, black around its tail and head, two big eyes, a small orange beak, two small wings, and a tuft of feathers at the back of its head. Shiny Starly has a light brown body.

              Evolution

Starly evolves into Staravia at Level 14, and Staravia evolves into Staraptor at Level 34.

              Prerequisites

              • You need to have purchased The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero DLC

              Preferred Location

The best location to shiny hunt Starly is on the water in the Fellhorn Gorge area.

              Sandwich Recipe

The easiest way to make a Sparkling and Encounter Power: Normal Lv. 3 Sandwich is:

              • 1 Fried Fillet
              • A combination of 1 Salty + 1 Sweet/Spicy/Sour Herba Mystica

If you don’t have any Salty Herba Mystica, then use this recipe:

              • 1 Cucumber + 1 Pickle
              • 3 Tofu
              • Any 2 Herba Mystica combination besides: 1 Sweet + 1 Sour Herba Mystica, 2x Sour Herba Mystica, or 2x Sweet Herba Mystica

              Tips For Hunting

The best way to shiny hunt Starly is to run around the water in the Fellhorn Gorge area. Shiny Starly can be difficult to notice from far away, but it can be noticed from close up, so it's best to come up to every Starly spawn to check for its shiny.
