              Introduction

Pichu is an Electric-type Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Gold & Silver. Its design is based on a baby electric mouse and a pre-evolution of Pikachu.

Its normal form presents a yellow body, large triangular ears with black outlines, a small black tail, red cheeks, black eyes, and a jagged black collar on its neck. Shiny Pichu has a darker yellow body with slightly darker cheeks.

              Evolution

Pichu evolves into Pikachu when it levels up with max friendship, and Pikachu evolves into Raichu when exposed to a Thunder Stone.

              Prerequisites

              • You need to have purchased The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero DLC

              Preferred Location

The best place to shiny hunt Pichu is at the top of Apple Hills beside Loyalty Plaza, to the left of Mossui Town.

              Sandwich Recipe

The easiest way to make a Sparkling and Encounter Power: Electric Lv. 3 Sandwich is:

              • 1 Yellow Pepper
              • A combination of 1 Salty Herba Mystica + 1 Spicy Herba Mystica

If you don’t have Salty Herba Mystica, then use this recipe:

              • 1 Cucumber + 1 Pickle
              • 3 Yellow Pepper
              • Any 2 Herba Mystica combinations besides 1 Sweet + 1 Sour Herba Mystica

              Tips For Hunting

The best way to shiny hunt Pichu is by checking all the spawns, and then resetting them by going in and out of Loyalty Plaza. Shiny Pichu can be difficult to notice, so be sure to look closely at every Pichu for the darker yellow color.
