Starting from Monday, September 1st at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, September 14th, 2025, at 23:59 UTC, a Shiny 
Chi-Yu with Fire as its Tera Type will be appearing in 5-star Tera Raid Battles. During this event, Trainers worldwide can unite against this Ruinous Pokémon for a chance to add it to their teams.
Unlike standard Tera Raid Battles, Shiny Chi-Yu cannot be caught upon being defeated. Instead, if the total number of player victories against this Pokémon collectively meets or exceeds one million during its event period, Shiny Chi-Yu will subsequently be available to claim via Mystery Gift during its distribution period from Friday, September 19th, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Tuesday, September 30th, 2025, at 23:59 UTC
Conditions to Receive This Shiny Pokémon via Mystery Gift
To receive the Pokémon featured in this Tera Raid Battle event—along with any Tera Shard rewards available during the Mystery Gift distribution period—the total number of victories achieved by all participating Trainers must collectively meet or exceed one million before the conclusion of the event period.

Shiny Chi-Yu is a part of an event series where trainers worldwide can unite against Shiny 
Wo-Chien, Shiny 
Chien-Pao, Shiny 
Ting-Lu, and Shiny Chi-Yu for a chance to add Shiny ones to their teams.
Unlike standard Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Tera Raid Battles, the four Pokémon appearing in these events cannot be caught upon being defeated. Instead, participating players can collectively win a certain number of Tera Raid Battles against each of these Pokémon for the opportunity to receive them via Mystery Gift.
