            Introduction

Mareep is an Electric-type Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Gold & Silver. It is a sheep Pokémon with a blue body with cream colored wool covering most of its body, four legs, two yellow and black horns, a twirl of wool on its head, and a black and yellow tail with an orange orb on the end of it.

Shiny Mareep has pink wool covering its body.

            Evolution

Mareep evolves into Flaaffy at Level 15, and Flaaffy evolves into Ampharos at Level 30.

            Preferred Location

The best location to shiny hunt Mareep is on the outskirts of Cortondo.

            Sandwich Recipe

The easiest way to make a Sparkling and Encounter Power: Electric Lv. 3 Sandwich is:

            • 1 Yellow Pepper
            • A combination of 1 Salty Herba Mystica + 1 Spicy Herba Mystica

If you don’t have Salty Herba Mystica, then use this recipe:

            • 1 Cucumber + 1 Pickle
            • 3 Yellow Pepper
            • Any 2 Herba Mystica combination besides 1 Sweet + 1 Sour Herba Mystica

            Tips For Hunting

The best way to shiny hunt Mareep is to town reset by entering and leaving Cortondo to reset all of the spawns. Shiny Mareep can be easily noticed from far away, so you don't need to worry about missing its shiny.
